Gangnam Style overtakes Justin Bieber

If you previously had any doubt that everything has gone down the tubes, then here's proof – Gangnam Style is the most viewed video on YouTube, ever.

To make matters worse, it overtook Justin Bieber's hit Baby from 2010. We guess this was somewhat expected, especially since the likes of Beethoven dumped the piano and went into canine movie industry.

The video racked up 808+ million views since it hit the net in July. There's a very slim chance you haven't seen the video, and even a slimmer one that the YouTube lot hasn't made you roll your eyes at least once, what will all the Gangnam-inspired video madness that ensued.

The song, originally performed by South Korean artist Psy, pokes fun at a posh Seoul suburb called Gangnam. In a relatively short period, it entered the book of Guinness World Records as the most liked video on YouTube, became the first Korean pop song to top UK Singles Chart and spawned numerous versions such as Klingon, Hitler and various other “styles”.
