Asus to show off Tegra 4 tablets at MWC

Written by Fuad Abazovic

Mobile World congress, late February

We spoke with Asus at CES 2013 and we learned that the company wanted to focus on the notebooks and all-in-ones for this show. It has decided to show its new tablets and phones in late February, at the Mobile World Congress.

Tegra 4 should be on the list of these new products but the company representatives failed to give us any additional details.  There might be some more tablets based on others chip, but we didn’t get any details about these either.

It is interesting that most manufacturers were telling us the exact same thing, that they will show off new tablets at the Mobile World Congress. We were surprised that some of them are US focused companies, but it looks like MWC has already become the world’s number one mobile event.

We are sure that Asus is working on new phones too, but we didn’t hear them say it out loud.
